On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to inform you that the “3rd International Conference on Medical Physics in Radiation Oncology and Imaging (ICMPROI) - 2018” will be held in Bangladesh Institute of Administration and Management (BIAM), Dhaka, Bangladesh from 10 to 12 March 2018.
The conference will be organized by Bangladesh Medical Physics Society (BMPS), co-organized by Bangladesh Cancer Society (BCS) and Department of Medical Physics & Biomedical Engineering, Gono University, and in co-operation with Nepalese Association of Medical Physicists (NAMP).
Since 2000, Medical Physics in Bangladesh, particularly in Radiation Oncology and Imaging fields, had been started to develop and now it is in a sustainable phase where the further capacity building is certainly required. The theme of the conference is “Challenges Facing Cancer Treatment in the Developing Countries”. As a contribution to that, this conference is aiming to present and discuss current achievements and further activities on an international scale. According to the tradition of the previous ICMPROI in 2011 and 2014, we are working hard to prepare a conference agenda focused on educational workshops and scientific meetings, talks by eminent speakers, oral papers, posters, panel discussions, that will be meaningful and productive for all involved in the field Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering.
Please send your registration at the earliest to make your stay in Dhaka more comfortable and fruitful. We would like to thank you for your input in the past and we hope you and other new participants have the opportunity to experience the enhancements of Medical Physics at our upcoming conference.
